Software Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of software development projects from initiation through closure
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Manage cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, designers, and business analysts
• Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies
• Track project performance using metrics and reporting tools
• Manage scope changes through a structured change-control process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
• Proven experience delivering complex software projects in a software house or tech environment
• Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and traditional frameworks
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with Jira, MS Project, or equivalent tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or CSM
• Experience managing distributed or international teams
• Familiarity with ERP and SaaS practices
