Software Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments
• Prepare, review, and evaluate software and storage specifications for products and systems
• Develop and implement test strategies for complex software products and storage systems
• Code and debug flexible, scalable, and complex programs based on design specifications
• Guide and mentor others in coding and debugging processes

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, and device drivers
• Proficiency with databases, embedded software/firmware, and system/network administration
• Proven ability to code and debug complex programs
• Experience with multiple programming languages, tools, and hardware platforms
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of related professional experience in software engineering
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, languages, and operating systems
