Software Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop sophisticated software systems for advanced manufacturing test automation solutions.
• Lead the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, and testing.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions to support high-volume manufacturing environments for AI Server and Storage products.
• Partner with product and manufacturing teams to integrate deep insights into server and storage platforms.
• Apply and shape the use of Agentic AI technologies to accelerate development and manufacturing workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers within an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including programming languages, operating systems, and system-level concepts.
• Proven experience designing, coding, and debugging complex, scalable systems.
• Exposure to multiple programming languages, operating systems, databases, tools, and hardware platforms.
• Deep understanding of system, network, operating system, and application-level interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, technologies, and platforms through hands-on experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
• Experience with manufacturing, test automation, embedded systems, firmware, BIOS, or device-level software.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development or automation workflows.
