Software Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and end-to-end delivery of next-generation out-of-band manageability features.
• Incubate and productize AI capabilities, including intelligent telemetry, predictive maintenance, and LLM-assisted diagnostics optimized for BMC resource constraints.
• Institutionalize AI-assisted development practices using tools like Windsurf and Claude Code to improve engineering velocity and security.
• Develop frameworks for multi-agent collaboration and optimize performance through reinforcement learning and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ML researchers and product managers, to ensure the scalability and reliability of agentic systems in production.

Requirements

• 9-14 years of experience in platform, firmware, or embedded systems with deep BMC, Redfish, and IPMI knowledge.
• 3-4+ years of experience building AI/ML (including GenAI) solutions in production environments.
• Proficiency in C/C++ (embedded) and Python.
• Experience with ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of firmware security, including PKI, secure boot, attestation, and SBOM.
• Experience with web technologies including Angular and Reactjs.
• Knowledge of ML/DL/NLP concepts such as Transformers, CNNs, RNNs/LSTMs, and prompt engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with Go development.
