Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the software engineering team
• Oversee architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of software for RheoSense instruments
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration
• Drive roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution
• Implement and maintain best practices in coding standards, version control, and testing
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years in a leadership or management role
• Proficiency in C++, C#, .NET, or embedded systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing software for scientific instruments or laboratory automation
• Experience with real-time data acquisition systems
• Familiarity with rheology, fluid dynamics, or analytical instrumentation
