Software Management & Process Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and configure software management frameworks, specifically focusing on Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) systems.
• Build and implement infrastructure and automation systems to support these management frameworks.
• Standardize and document software development processes and collaboration models to establish Nissan standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure end-to-end software process integration from planning and strategy through development, testing, and delivery.
• Support the transition to Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) development by creating scalable management foundations.

Requirements

• Experience in embedded software development or IT/development management.
• Proven experience in implementing PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) or ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools.
• Experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or general software process improvement.
• Proficiency in English with a TOEIC score of 600 or higher.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively with global teams and various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive-specific software standards such as Automotive-SPICE, ISO 26262, or CMMI.
• Hands-on experience with software management tools including GIT, JIRA, Confluence, or ARAS.
• Practical experience in creating or operating Software Bill of Materials (SBOM).
• Knowledge of automotive software standardization activities (e.g., JASPAR).
• TOEIC score of 650 or higher.
