Software Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of software modules and their integration for train control systems
• Ensure software baselines meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) requirements
• Deploy and apply development procedures, processes, and design rules
• Manage hardware and software configuration traceability
• Maintain and control project KPIs and report to the Software Domain Leader
• Oversee software validation and manage work packages for subcontractors

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 12 years of hands-on software development experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience leading the complete product lifecycle for at least 3 projects
• Proficiency in IEC61131-3 (FBD, ST, and SFC) or model-based development tools like MATLAB/Simulink
• Familiarity with real-time, distributed controllers and network protocols (e.g., MVB, CIP, TRDP, Ethernet, CAN)
• Experience managing subcontractor work packages
