Software Intern

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and department employees to apply technical knowledge and grow professionally
• Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to facilitate learning and provide progress updates
• Participate in tech talks and network with other interns and employees through social and professional events

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Must have at least one semester of school remaining post-internship
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, or personal/team projects)
• Ability to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting August or September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.5 or above
• 6+ months of applied engineering experience
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Svelte
• Experience with testing, debugging, and code reviews
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
