Software Integration Engineer Level 3

Responsibilities

• Provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services and enhanced sustainment capabilities for multi-vendor HPC servers and clusters
• Support systems running Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, and custom operating systems
• Manage high-speed shared parallel storage solutions using LUSTRE and GPFS
• Support HPC and SRE teams by following government policies for ticket tracking, change management, and coding specifications
• Plan, deliver, and integrate new HPC sustainment capabilities including cluster, SMP, MPP, and SPD servers
• Provide customer support for HPC software across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance (most recent poly within last 7 years)
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
• 8 years of experience integrating, installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous OS environments (or 13 years in lieu of a degree)

Preferred Qualifications

• Linux Shell scripting
• Object Oriented Programming (C, C++, Java)
• Python programming
• GCC compiler and multi-threaded software experience
• Parallel processing and knowledge of CORBA or J2EE
• Perl or JavaScript
• Configuration Management tools
• Experience with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software
