Software Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services and enhanced sustainment capabilities
• Support multi-vendor HPC servers, clusters, and SPD servers
• Manage systems running Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, and custom operating systems
• Maintain high-speed shared storage solutions like Lustre and GPFS
• Support HPC and ABS SRE teams following government policies, ticket tracking, and change management
• Plan, deliver, and integrate new HPC sustainment capabilities including parallel file systems
• Provide customer support for HPC software across UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance (most recent poly within last 7 years)
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
• 10 years of experience integrating, installing, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous OS environments (or 15 years in lieu of a degree)
• Proficiency in Linux Shell scripting and Python
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming (C, C++, Java)
• Knowledge of GCC compiler, multi-threaded software, and parallel processing
• Familiarity with CORBA, J2EE, Perl, or JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools and structured troubleshooting
