Software Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable integrations between enterprise systems, including SAP and custom applications.
• Develop and maintain APIs, data interfaces, and integration services to support both real-time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across integrated systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data-related issues, including performance and reliability concerns.
• Document integration designs, data flows, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in similar integration roles.
• Proven experience in integration development within enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of API development and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, event-driven architectures).
• Experience with middleware or integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services or MuleSoft.
• Familiarity with SAP integrations and enterprise data flows.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Understanding of data formats (JSON, XML) and messaging systems.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly in Azure environments.
• Exposure to event streaming technologies and service buses.
• Experience working within cross-functional and global teams.
• Understanding of security standards and best practices for integration solutions.
