About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems for manufacturing automation, focusing on digitalization and AI integration.
  • Develop and optimize image processing and machine vision algorithms using tools like VIDI, VPRO, or COGNEX.
  • Integrate AI/ML solutions into manufacturing processes, including model development, training, and validation.
  • Design scalable backend architectures to support real-time data processing and high-throughput environments.
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software interfaces involving cameras, sensors, PLCs, and industrial protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in process engineering, IT, and operations to implement automation solutions.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C++, or C#.
  • Knowledge of database management using SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and data visualization platforms like Spotfire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the electronics or HDD industry.
  • Experience working within high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong desire for continuous learning and self-development.
