Software Engineering, MTS (SRE & Devops)

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a multi-substrate Kubernetes and microservices platform to power Core CRM and various applications across Salesforce.
• Ensure high availability for a large fleet of clusters utilizing Kubernetes, software load balancers, and service mesh.
• Drive automation efforts using Python, GoLang, Terraform, Spinnaker, Puppet, and Jenkins to eliminate manual operational tasks.
• Implement self-healing mechanisms and improve platform visibility through advanced monitoring and metrics.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and contribute code to drive continuous platform improvement.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to solve infrastructure challenges.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles.
• Proven experience operating large-scale distributed systems, particularly in cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux Systems Administration and Linux internals.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python or GoLang.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, switches, routers, and load balancers.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, or Service Mesh.
• Practical experience with AWS, Terraform, and Spinnaker.
• Experience using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Nagios, or Zabbix.
