Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of engineers and less experienced managers to build high-quality capabilities using modern technology
• Ensure adherence to Banking Platform Architecture and meet all non-functional requirements with each release
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to implement technical strategies, including cloud readiness, application modernization, and data strategy
• Act as a technical representative for the product during cross-team planning and collaborative efforts
• Identify and resolve technology roadblocks related to code, build, and deployment processes
• Manage the overall software development lifecycle, security standards, and enterprise risk mitigation
• Partner with Product Managers to influence technology requirements, product roadmaps, and agile/DevOps practices
• Oversee allocation of people and financial resources, including performance management and career development for direct reports

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years of Leadership experience
