Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of flight software for the Neutron rocket
• Collaborate with GNC, Hardware-In-The-Loop, and ground software teams
• Manage software resilience, reliability, and integration across systems
• Guide the team through challenging milestones and manage priorities, resources, and risks
• Foster a high-performance culture of ownership and innovation

Requirements

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent expertise
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience
• 2+ years of project leadership experience in schedule-sensitive programs
• Experience with software deployment, CI tooling, data processing, and data engineering
• Proficiency in Git and issue trackers
• Experience with system languages like C++

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with highly reliable software systems and requirements-driven design
• Solid understanding of GNC principles
• Familiarity with Machine Learning or Bazel
