Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Scrum teams to drive the development of mission-critical Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software.
• Spearhead the definition of complex engineering requirements and shape overarching software architecture.
• Establish, refine, and champion engineering best practices and SDLC processes.
• Take ownership of planning and delivering crucial team milestones.
• Act as a technical key figure to align teams and stakeholders around shared goals.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience leading, mentoring, and growing software development teams.
• Hands-on experience programming large-scale systems and developing complex software architectures.
• Deep, comprehensive understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience managing the complete end-to-end software lifecycle.
• Cloud engineering expertise, specifically developing scalable applications using AWS or Microsoft Azure.
