Software Engineering Manager - Financial & SCM Systems

Responsibilities

• Own the technology roadmap for financial and operational systems, including ERP, order management, procurement, and payment systems.
• Lead and develop a team of SDEs and Technical/Business Systems Analysts, fostering a culture of ownership and AI-first delivery.
• Drive AI-led transformation by identifying manual workflows and replacing them with AI-assisted approaches like Copilot-assisted code and AI-powered testing.
• Set AI guardrails, standards, and responsible-use policies within a financial systems context.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, AI-augmented solutions.
• Manage system integrators and software vendors to ensure alignment with the strategic roadmap.
• Ensure financial controls, audit readiness (SOX), and data integrity across all owned platforms.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of ERP functional or technical experience.
• Deep expertise in Finance (O2C, P2P, GL, AR, AP) and/or Supply Chain processes.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude in a daily professional capacity.
• Proven experience leading engineering or technical teams in retail, eCommerce, or high-transaction environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and complex cross-system data flows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial platforms including order management, treasury, or payment systems.
• Track record of leading automations leveraging cloud ERP native capabilities or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Experience managing large-scale system integrations and complex technical landscapes.
