Software Engineering LMTS

Responsibilities

• Define and drive design discussions regarding enterprise capabilities such as scalability, fault tolerance, and maintainability
• Design software systems for high-end solutions independently and determine overall design principles and standards
• Partner with engineering, QE, and product partners to deliver highly scalable and secure SaaS solutions
• Drive research, case studies, and prototypes on leading-edge technologies
• Oversee software design within assigned systems and provide feedback on product strategy
• Provide informal coaching to team members to support their technical development and understanding of design

Requirements

• BS in a related field and at least 10+ years of experience in Software Product Development
• Proficiency in C#, Java, J2EE, and Spring
• Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL (Mongo, Cassandra)
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other public clouds
• Experience with containers such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, REST, Microservices, and Orchestration
• Experience with high-volume SaaS applications and distributed systems at scale

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with instrumentation tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, or Statsd
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies including Elastic Search, Kafka, Hbase, or Spark
• Experience with the Salesforce CRM application and platform
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
• Open source contributions
