Software Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot applications (Java 21+ preferred)
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs using clean architecture principles
• Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and efficient data access layers using JPA and MongoDB
• Develop RAG-based AI solutions, including vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines
• Design Agentic workflows and develop applications using LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks
• Leverage AI coding assistants like Copilot to enhance development productivity
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability while following CI/CD and DevSecOps practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Expertise in Java 17+ (Java 21 preferred), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Proficiency with MongoDB (NoSQL data modeling) and JPA/Hibernate
• Hands-on experience or solid understanding of RAG architecture and LangChain
• Experience using Copilot or other AI coding assistants
• Proven ability to work as an independent contributor in high-scale distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Kubernetes/containerization
• Experience with Java 21 features like Virtual Threads
• Previous exposure to the healthcare domain
