Software Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership through coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and support for complex engineering challenges
• Lead the design, architecture, development, deployment, and support of complex software solutions and product features
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers to help them grow their skills and careers
• Partner with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
• Drive strong engineering practices including clean code, testing, CI/CD, and continuous improvement
• Lead planning, estimation, and sprint execution to balance speed, quality, and long-term sustainability

Requirements

• Significant software engineering experience, including experience leading engineers or technical delivery
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, scalability, and security
• Experience working with AWS and modern engineering tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint planning
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Experience mentoring or line managing engineers
