Software Engineering Internship - API management

Responsibilities

• Learn to treat operational issues as software problems by addressing reliability, availability, scalability, and efficiency
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of mission-critical systems to ensure 99.9+% availability
• Work on scaling high-load systems within a diverse and evolving environment
• Contribute to problem management and internal product support processes
• Support global navigation tooling and enhance system self-service capabilities

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in software engineering studies (ideally last-year students)
• Proficiency in at least one compiled language, preferably Golang
• Basic experience with Kubernetes (e.g., deploying non-production applications)
• Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux systems and typical usage cases
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of software architecture for distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of Cloud-native architecture and CNCF tools
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD technologies, GitHub, and automated pipelines
• Experience working on personal or academic software projects
