Software Engineering Associate - Snowflake

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of business-critical initiatives by executing assigned tasks with quality and timeliness
• Support the design, development, and enhancement of systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, and operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement
• Uphold governance, risk, and compliance standards while ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, including warehouses, clustering, and partitioning
• Hands-on experience or foundational knowledge in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
• Proficiency in data engineering concepts such as ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and data ecosystem tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Snowpark, or Kafka
• Awareness of FinOps principles, including cost monitoring and resource optimization
• Experience working within financial services environments and understanding regulatory compliance
