Software Engineer/Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software enhancements for mission systems within Federal Government agencies
• Design, develop, test, and debug software containing logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems
• Integrate multiple applications and systems to streamline process workflows
• Build scalable and secure solutions using DevSecOps and Agile methodologies
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Document software functionality using diagrams and contribute to end-user manuals
• Apply research and development techniques to move products from concept to production

Requirements

• Must have an active US government TS/SCI clearance (no exceptions)
• Proven experience in software development using modern programming languages
• Strong creative problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise system development and rapid prototyping
• Proficiency with modern web technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, or Java)
• Understanding of DevSecOps pipelines, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and modern databases
• Experience with automated testing and configuration management tools like GIT
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts or NiFi automation
