Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and verification of embedded and application-level software for high-reliability UAS systems
• Own end-to-end technical ownership of major software components or subsystems
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, GNC, flight test, and cybersecurity teams
• Architect and evolve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers and conduct code reviews
• Contribute to strategic technical roadmaps and evaluate emerging technologies
• Support qualification, certification, and airworthiness processes

Requirements

• 8–15+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with high-reliability or safety-critical systems (aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical devices)
• Deep expertise in C# and proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Matlab/Simulink
• Proven track record in real-time embedded software, autonomy stacks, or mission systems
• Mastery of Git/GitHub, Visual Studio, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Experience building CI/CD systems and managing software in AWS or hybrid cloud
• U.S. person status required

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DO-178C certification pathways
• Existing security clearance
