Software Engineer, Youtube Ads, Auction and User Experience

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code to drive YouTube Ads marketplace optimization.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure best practices in accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
• Implement solutions in specialized Machine Learning (ML) areas, utilizing ML infrastructure for model optimization and data processing.
• Triage, debug, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on service operations and quality.
• Contribute to technical documentation and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (or 1 year with an advanced degree).
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, or data processing.
• 1 year of experience in statistical modeling, reinforcement learning, or a related machine learning field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in quantitative disciplines such as machine learning, optimization theory, statistical modeling, or control theory.
• 2 years of experience working with complex data structures and algorithms.
