Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade realtime and batch pipelines
• Create shared datasets, fact tables, and internal data products
• Prototype and build tooling that automates and accelerates internal data workflows
• Own data correctness end to end through validation and root-cause investigations
• Move fluidly across query engines and frameworks like BigQuery, Trino, Clickhouse, Flink, Kafka, and Spark
• Partner across product and business teams to identify and prioritize data acquisition opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Hands-on expertise in Python, Rust, Scala, Go, or Java
• Knowledge of realtime and batch data processing tools such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, or SQL
• Experience with various storage systems in RMDBs/NoSQL
• Proven record of interpreting product requirements into engineering implementation plans
