Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical Lead for front-end and back-end design and development within the Enablement Journey
• Participate in low to moderately complex technology initiatives, including installation, upgrades, and deployment
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs associated with the technology domain
• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements
• Review and analyze technical assignments and research alternative technology domains for low to medium risk deliverables
• Present recommendations for resolving issues and escalate as needed to meet service level agreements
• Collaborate with US partner teams and provide information to internal stakeholders and technology colleagues

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education
• Must be a 2023 graduate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• Hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Microservices, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot
• Experience with React JS and JavaScript frameworks
• Proficiency with Private Cloud (PCF) and working within Agile teams
• Knowledge of GIT, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA tools
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Experience with Unit, Integration, and Automation frameworks
• Experience implementing and reviewing Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) like performance optimization, scalability, and reusability
