Software Engineer, WebTools

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly reliable web interfaces for researching market activity and configuring trading platforms
• Design PostgreSQL data storage schemas
• Generate reports to provide business intelligence insights
• Implement automated scanning, identification, and alerting for system health and anomalous activity
• Utilize best practices for unit testing and document technical details in the team wiki
• Communicate with stakeholders to capture and refine requirements
• Leverage AI tools like Claude or Copilot to optimize productivity and system reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
• 2+ years of experience with Python and Full Stack web development
• Proficiency with Django or a similar Python web framework
• Experience with JavaScript and React
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and Git
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience using AI across the software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
• Experience working within the finance industry
