Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable software solutions
• Build and enhance APIs and backend services supporting web and mobile applications
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
• Deliver high-quality code with appropriate automated testing
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Support the reliability, performance, security, and observability of core platform services
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience developing backend systems using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Experience working in cloud-based or distributed environments
• Experience writing automated tests and working within CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on high-availability, transaction-based systems
• Experience with payments or financial transaction processing
• Experience integrating third-party services or external APIs
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures
• Experience modernizing or evolving legacy systems
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
