Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the automation and digitization of laboratory operations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop, modify, and deliver software solutions, features, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate closely with users to understand workflows and implement feedback into digital tools.
• Support the implementation of complex requirements across multiple platforms and operating systems.
• Analyze and isolate application issues to perform effective problem resolution.
• Monitor software project progress by tracking activity and recommending necessary actions.
• Improve system performance by investigating technical trends and recommending solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React.js, or Angular).
• 3+ years of backend web development experience using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in an electrical lab environment (electrical engineering, soldering, or test equipment).
• Proficiency with TypeScript and version control systems like Git/GitHub.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerization (Docker).
• Strong command of Linux environments and shell/bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
