Responsibilities

• Develop order matching and trade execution algorithms and data structures
• Build high-performance data feeds and trading APIs for clients
• Maintain high guarantee and availability clearing systems, including margining and collateral management
• Lead integrations with external market makers, brokers, and hedge funds
• Stress test large-scale critical systems to ensure robustness
• Optimize database access patterns and internal algorithms
• Design new market structures such as non-binary markets, scalars, and futures
• Ship fast with high quality and iterate based on customer needs

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience planning and leading large projects with long-term impact
• Strong technical grasp of complex engineering problems
• Solid understanding of relational databases and transactions
• Experience writing highly concurrent systems
• History of creating new processes and tooling to increase efficiency
• Excellent judgment on task prioritization
• Ability to ship at high speed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building financial systems, FIX API, or clearing infrastructure
• Proven experience building large-scale systems
• Experience interacting directly with customers
