Tools for Humanity (TFH) designs and builds technology behind World. World is building a real human network designed to accelerate people in the age of AI. The TFH and World tech stacks make this possible through the Orb, World ID, and World App, adding a human layer to an AI-driven internet.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Go, Rust, and TypeScript
• Design and implement highly reliable services for transaction execution, state access, and smart contract interaction
• Build and extend secure indexing and data processing pipelines using Temporal
• Develop and maintain smart contracts required by product workflows
• Improve blockchain resilience through RPC load balancing and transaction simulation
• Own features from design through deployment, including testing and observability
• Partner with product, protocol, infrastructure, and security teams
• Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and incident response

Requirements

• Ability to reason clearly about complex systems
• Strong ownership and ability to drive projects to completion
• Comfortable operating in unfamiliar territory and diagnosing distributed systems failures
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• High standards for reliability, correctness, and security

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building production backend systems in Go, Rust, or TypeScript
• Experience with distributed systems or high-throughput backend services
• Familiarity with Ethereum, EVM-based chains, smart contracts, or ERC-4337
• Experience with event-driven systems or workflow orchestration tools like Temporal
• Strong debugging skills across service boundaries and blockchain infrastructure
