At The Flex, we believe renting a home should feel as effortless as booking a ride. Powered by Base360.ai, our proprietary automation platform, we are building the operating system for modern renting—connecting property data, orchestrating operations, and enabling seamless stays across continents.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable applications, services, and APIs for bookings, pricing, and payments
- Build event-driven workflows to automate manual operational tasks
- Leverage LLMs and AI agents to streamline decision-making and customer experiences
- Create robust API-first architectures for internal and third-party integrations
- Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure for global reliability
- Own projects end-to-end from initial idea to deployment
Requirements
- Strong experience building production-grade software systems
- Proficiency with Python, FastAPI, React, or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture
- Experience designing scalable backend systems
- Ability to work independently with a product mindset and a bias toward action
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PropTech or marketplace businesses
- Knowledge of AI agents and workflow automation
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with Supabase and AWS serverless infrastructure
