Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform full stack development using AWS infrastructure to design and implement scalable software solutions
• Develop, test, and maintain web applications that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
• Review and translate customer requirements into software product designs
• Participate in the agile software development lifecycle, including planning and reviews
• Analyze, debug, and resolve performance issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency
• Document architectures, requirements, algorithms, and interfaces for software products
• Implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with adjudicated polygraph
• 2+ years of experience in foundational Computer Science knowledge
• 2+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience working with React frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience in engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience with infrastructure tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building regression test suites
• Experience with systems engineering or software development for space-based or ground-based systems
