Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
• Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into fully functional software systems
• Create software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments to ensure requirements are met
• Execute and document software research and development projects
• Troubleshoot software issues and serve as a subject matter expert for specific software domains and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• 2+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
• 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming
• 2+ years of experience in software architecture and design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/SAFe development methodologies
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Experience developing embedded real-time software and working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field
