Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Python and Django
• Write APIs and refactor existing codebases
• Participate in automated deployment, scrum/agile processes, and peer code reviews
• Write tests and ensure high code quality
• Lead and mentor associates within the engineering team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Expert proficiency in Python and Django
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
• Experience with automated deployment and agile methodologies
• Ability to work onsite in Kansas City, MO

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong web development experience
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks and different view types
• Proven ability to jump into projects immediately
• Strong critical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills
