Responsibilities

• Own systems end-to-end, from initial design documents to managing production edge cases
• Build and maintain revenue recognition architecture, including invoice synchronization and accounting entries
• Develop data pipelines for historical revenue imports and validation
• Create month-end close workflows, including payment reconciliation and journal entry generation
• Optimize revenue reporting queries for multi-currency and large-scale data sets
• Build robust systems like credit memo logic with rollback capabilities
• Work across backend services, data models, APIs, and frontend services
• Partner closely with Product and Design teams to implement user-centric features

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven experience building web applications or backend services in production
• Familiarity with modern backend languages and frameworks
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue
• Proficiency working with APIs and relational databases
• Ability to thrive in an in-person, high-intensity engineering environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building scalable systems
• Ability to learn complex domains like accounting and finance quickly
• Strong interest in solving high-complexity mathematical and temporal problems
