Software Engineer, Systems ML

Responsibilities

• Apply AI infrastructure and hardware acceleration techniques to build and optimize intelligent ML systems
• Set goals related to project impact, AI system design, and infrastructure efficiency
• Drive large-scale efforts across multiple teams through data-driven analysis
• Define use cases and develop methodologies and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches
• Apply in-depth knowledge of how ML infrastructure interacts with surrounding systems
• Mentor other engineers and research scientists to improve engineering quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
• Specialized experience in ML/DL domains such as GPU architecture, machine learning compilers, or AI infrastructure
• Experience developing AI-System infrastructure or AI algorithms in C/C++ or Python
• Experience with high performance computing, performance optimizations, or ML frameworks like PyTorch

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Technical leadership experience
• Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development
• Experience with recommendation and ranking models
• Ability to implement responsible and ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation and risk assessment
