Software Engineer - SRE (Rust)

Responsibilities

• Acquire product requirements and design optimal solutions by working with stakeholders across domains
• Develop and maintain in-house cloud architecture components, including procurement, provisioning, patching, migration, and retirement of instances
• Own implemented solutions end-to-end from inception to deployment, monitoring, and regular upkeep
• Identify infrastructure-wide and company-wide problems and provide scalable solutions
• Measure and increase compliance of solutions
• Bring a DevOps mindset to all implementations

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Development
• Experience with or knowledge of operating systems and current technologies
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Rust, Go, or Python
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and systems knowledge
• Exposure to open source technologies
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of cloud technologies
• Experience with Mesos, KVM/QEMU, NodeJS, or React
