Software Engineer, Spectacles C++

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and support reusable components, interactions, frameworks, and SDKs for Spectacles Augmented Reality Glasses
• Develop core components of the operating system powering Spectacles, SnapOS
• Participate in rigorous code and design reviews
• Collaborate with design, interactive engineering, and product teams to shape and launch new products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of post-Bachelor's software development experience
• Industry experience with C++ development
• Experience with object-oriented languages such as C++, Kotlin, or Java
• Experience delivering high-quality, performant, and scalable code with extensive unit and functional testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping high-performance code
• Experience working with operating systems, resource-constrained devices, and 3D graphics
• Experience designing SDKs, APIs, and platforms
