Software Engineer Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement market-leading capital markets products and analytics platforms within the GBME unit
• Work closely with end users and business teams to conduct gap analysis and requirements assessments
• Partner with Architecture on system design and integration
• Manage the full software development life cycle, including producing specifications, writing production-quality code, and implementation
• Design and implement database schemas
• Design and automate test sets, including functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing
• Write deployment scripts and leverage CI/CD pipelines to promote code
• Support solutions in production and refactor legacy code as needed
• Participate in and run SCRUM meetings

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations
• Recent experience working with both relational and non-relational databases
• 2+ years of experience reading, writing, and running SQL scripts
• Experience with UNIX Shell scripting in Sun Solaris or Linux environments
• Experience working in an Agile environment with an understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant professional experience
