Software Engineer, Site Reliability (SRE)

Responsibilities

• Own Sierra’s observability stack including monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing
• Partner with product and platform engineers to design reliable and scalable systems
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform
• Improve the reliability and scalability of LLM deployments
• Lead improvements to deployment pipelines, CI/CD tooling, and incident management processes
• Define the foundation of SRE practices across the engineering organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability or Infrastructure engineering for SaaS or cloud systems
• Experience designing for availability, scalability, and reliability
• Deep experience with Terraform, AWS, container orchestration, and cloud networking
• Strong background in observability systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Experience working with enterprise customers and compliance/networking needs
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLM infrastructure and optimizing inference performance
• Experience in an early-stage startup environment
• Familiarity with incident management automation or self-healing infrastructure patterns
