Software Engineer Senior Consultant II

Responsibilities

• Implement applications following 12-factor principles to build products and iterative enhancements
• Own the full stack of software products, including frontend (web or mobile) and backend services
• Practice daily paired programming and test-driven development (TDD)
• Provide input into product architecture and design while collaborating with the team to solve complex problems
• Establish and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Serve as a subject matter expert on specific business domains and technology stacks
• Coach junior team members on various technologies and Extreme Programming (XP) practices
• Lead and participate in daily standups, retrospectives, and iteration planning meetings

Requirements

• 3 or more years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack development expertise
• Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices
• Deep understanding of 12-factor app principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and Microsoft .NET development
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization
• Experience with API development, management, and Open API standards
• Background in the insurance industry
