Software Engineer Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Design, develop, and implement technology solutions for complex business problems
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement efficient resolutions
• Suggest architectural and technical improvements to supported applications and systems
• Drive high-performance standards and quality craftsmanship throughout the software delivery life cycle
• Utilize CI/CD and QE principles to ensure seamless software delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development and supporting large-scale customer-facing platforms
• 5+ years of experience in Java development (preferably Java 8/Spring)
• 5+ years of experience building public and internal REST APIs
• Strong experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk
• Proficiency with CI/CD and collaboration tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience with cloud and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP
• Familiarity with security and network protocols including OpenID, OAUTH, TCP, SSH, and SSL
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in the Financial Services (FI) banking industry
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and adaptability to evolving environments
• Experience using AI tools relevant to API development
