Software Engineer - Security Engineering

Responsibilities

• Own the security posture of our cloud infrastructure, including AWS, EKS, Vercel, and Supabase
• Build detection and response capabilities to enable capable incident response
• Design and operate secrets, credential, and access management architecture across all services
• Partner with engineering teams to implement secure-by-default patterns such as IAM, network segmentation, and access control
• Help shape the security posture of our agentic AI platform as it evolves

Requirements

• 3+ years in infrastructure security, security operations, or platform engineering
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes security, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets handling
• Experience architecting precise detection and response (D&R) SIEM/SOAR systems
• Proven incident response experience as an individual contributor, including stakeholder communication under pressure
• Proficiency in writing and shipping code in your language of choice
• Pragmatic approach to balancing security requirements with developer velocity and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Background defending or attacking AI/ML systems and agent infrastructure
• Experience with endpoint security operations (EDR/MDR)
• Previous experience serving as the sole security person at an early-stage company
