Software Engineer - SDET

Responsibilities

• Build testing infrastructure and tooling, including AI test generation, test harnesses, API, hermetic test environments, and load/performance frameworks
• Enable testability of systems and services across the stack
• Develop with modern tools and languages such as K6, Rust, and Go
• Refine best practices to ensure high-quality systems and services
• Participate in test planning and quality strategy reviews
• Collaborate with peers through design and code reviews to ensure technical excellence

Requirements

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals
• 5+ years of industry experience building and maintaining high-quality testing software, specifically tools used by other engineers
• Deep understanding of Testing and Quality Engineering principles
• A strong sense of craftsmanship and a drive to foster a quality-centric culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with back-end testing frameworks
• Expertise in AI Test Generation
• Proficiency in integration, API, and contract testing
• Experience with CI/CD testing workflows
• Multi-cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Previous experience working in a startup environment
