Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement best practice code into the codebase for digital banking solutions
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to realize technical vision
• Solve complex technical challenges and communicate ideas effectively to the team
• Provide thorough code reviews to peer developers to maintain high quality
• Plan milestones and execute software delivery within an Agile environment
• Enhance code quality by writing and executing comprehensive tests
• Perform security scanning and implement best practices to resolve security issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Java developer (preference for Java 11 or 17)
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Experience with container orchestration technology such as Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes
• Experience with Application Security protocols including oAuth2 and/or SSO
• Experience with event stream processing technologies like Kafka or Pub/Sub
• Proficiency in REST API design and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented and Functional Design principles
• Well-rounded knowledge of Agile principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience productionizing NodeJS servers
• Experience with modern JS frameworks, preferably React
• Familiarity with modern JS toolsets (ES6, Typescript, Babel, Lerna, Jest, Protractor)
