Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly observable backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex features and contribute to architectural decisions
• Actively contribute to upgrading core platform infrastructure, focusing on system resilience and performance tuning
• Implement rigorous secure coding practices to safeguard data exchange in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and leadership to scope technical requirements and ensure predictable delivery
• Champion engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in a product-driven SaaS environment
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
• Extensive experience with relational database management and schema design (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Practical experience with AWS and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
• Solid understanding of enterprise network/file transfer protocols (SFTP, HTTPS, AS2) and security standards (SSL/TLS)
• Experience with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
