Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components and services using Modern C++ and Java
• Integrate systems using RESTful APIs and handle data exchange with JSON and XML
• Build and enhance web-based user interfaces using JavaScript and JQuery
• Contribute to the secure implementation of file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, and HTTP/S
• Design and implement automated unit and integration tests in a “shift-left” testing environment
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3-5+ years of software development experience
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in Modern C++ (version 11 and above) and Java
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration using JSON
• Experience developing interactive front-ends with JavaScript and JQuery
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Understanding of or experience working within Agile Scrum environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Cypress, or PlayWright
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
