Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Backstage instance, working across the full stack from React frontend components to Node.js microservices
• Design and develop custom plugins to integrate third-party tooling like Finout, ServiceNow, and CircleCI
• Create automated software templates for provisioning production-ready AWS environments
• Write Python and Node.js automation scripts to enforce cloud compliance and IAM best practices
• Integrate AWS CloudWatch metrics and cost frameworks into developer entity pages

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, and Python
• Working knowledge of AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, and IAM
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of both frontend and backend systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Backstage and NestJS
• Proficiency with REST/GraphQL APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI
